Explosion Power GmbH was founded in year 2009 and produces and sells Explosion Generators for the continuous online cleaning of boilers of all types (waste to energy plants, waste incineration plants, industrial boilers, coal fired power plants, etc.). Explosion Generators can also be used for the cleaning of other plants like filters and cement kilns.

The Explosion Generator is permanently installed at a nozzle of the plant and injects pressure waves into the plant, which are created by controlled gas explosions. The pressure waves clean off slag and fly ash deposits, whereby the area of significant cleaning effect is considerably larger than just the area nearby the installation place. The explosion frequency is defined project specific, mostly several times per day, in case of severe fouling several times per hour.

The efficiency of boiler cleaning by controlled gas explosions was successfully demonstrated by Bang & Clean of Kesselreinigung Rueegg GmbH since 2001, in over 200 plants worldwide. The technology was proven to be absolutely safe and harmless.

The development of the Explosion Generator took several years and was essentially based on the experiences of Bang & Clean Technology. International patents were applied for.

The safety aspect is considered of key importance. Each Explosion Generator is equipped with its own programmable logic controller, which supervises all important process parameters and stops the generator immediately, if a deviation from normal operation occurs. The gas supply – Natural Gas and Oxygen – is only opened at the time of filling the generator, and only at the explosion resistant generator itself are the two gases mixed and therefore explosive.

The Explosion Generator shall enable our clients to improve the traveling period and the boiler efficiency of their boiler and to reduce the operating cost. Our goal is the worldwide application of Explosion Generators.
