5x EG10XL on line 1 since 06/2015; 5x EG10XL on line 2 since 06/2016; all SPG’s in 2nd, 3rd and 4th pass
Consequences of the installation of SPG’s: Better cleaning of membrane walls, evaporator and superheaters, shower cleaning in 2nd/3rd pass obsolete/removed, much slower build up of boiler ash, lower temperatures at evaporator, less explosive cleaning needed. At some point the boiler load was increased because the flue gas temperatures at evaporator were the limiting factor before SPGs. Afterwards explosive cleaning regime was same as before SPG’s, but at higher load.
